Bummer, because that would certainly be faster to the user than using the 
real fonts always, and even faster than a ProSEL-type font. (Their font is 
basically the same as Shaston 8 isn't it?).

Having dual-modes of showing the document is an interesting proposition, but
hopefully page-preview wouldn't be modal, since you want to be able to 
play with the fonts and sizes and such real time to get it to look right.

Maybe the best solution (barring actually using text mode) would be to allow
each open document window to be shown either in WYSIWYG mode, or in the 'faster'
one-font-size mode. (The latter could have one area of the screen to show the 
font and size of text at the cursor?)
