Ha ha. I suppose you want us ROM 01'ers to go through the hassle of
patching a perfectly good program to run on our computers... ;-)

You mean shifting it up and down within a line? I don't think
TextEdit can do that implicitly, but AWGS can handle things like
superscript and subscript (but it doesn't use TextEdit). I would like
to see the new WP have adjustable super/subscripts that don't "bump" the
line above or below it. It should keep the line height constant.
