Reading MS/DOS disks from a floptical

I will be getting a floptical drive later this week, and I heard that
there were programs that could read MS/DOS disks in flopticals. These 
programs were not part of System 6.0.1; they were supposed to be three
[shell?] utilities, mdir, mcopy, and mlist. Does anyone know if these
programs do exist, and if so, where I could get them from?
