Alien Mind walk-thru?

Well with all that talk about Alien Mind made me dig up my copy and run 
it again. I tried that scale key at every terminal and zilch. nothing. 
nada. I've read the manual back and forth, and I don't know what I'm 
missing. So, what I want to know is if there is a walk thru for the game. 
I've had it for years be have long given up on it since I never got past 
the first level.
