Hmm. Firstly: What kind of upgrade do you want? ROM? Card? In both
cases, TMS is the place to go. The Rev. D is not, BTW, faster than
the Rev. C. Admitted, you can put 1MB in the Rev. D, but that
is only interesting if you shuffle around a lot of big files.
Of course, the Rev. D has the "special DMA quirk" as long as you have
no TWGS in the systsem, so if that's what you want ...
Anyway, there's no real upgrade path for the hardware, if you want a Rev.D
you'll have to buy one, either new or used.
