User group discussions (was Re: No more wars!!!)

    Hold that thought and bring it up in csa2.usergroups next week.  We
had an informal Board Of Directors meeting last Sunday for our UG at a
local diner.  One of the big problems we have is exposure.  We
brainstormed a few ideas on getting the word out about LOGIC (our UG). 
The best one was a concerted effort by the association of Canadian Apple
User Groups to convince Apple Canada to include some sort of free disk
containing information on every UG in Canada.  This type of project
would benefit greatly from a networked discussion forum.  If we could
get software that will network different BBS's together, many
communication problems would be solved.

    I hope to put together a list of Apple II usergroups with addresses,
phone numbers and contact persons for the csa2.ug FAQ.  We received the
Washingtom Apple Pi newsletter last weekend.  Actually, this thing is
more like a glossy magazine!  These guys must really have the $$$
rolling into their coffers to produce something like this every month!!!
