HP 500c to GS

Get the upgrade to Harmonie 2.1.  It supports color printing with the HP
DeskJet 500c.  The type of cable you need to connect the 500c to the GS is
an Imagewriter I to Mac Plus (male DB-25 to DIN-8) serial cable.  Though,
using the parallel connection will get you faster printouts since data is
transmitted to the printer at a higher rate (8 bits at a time with parallel
instead of 1 at a time with serial).  On a 14 MHz 128k Zip equipped GS
connected to a HP LJ4, it only takes a few seconds to calculate a 300 dpi
page and a few seconds more for the output to come out of the printer.
The longest delay is the time it takes to send the data from the computer
to the printer (usually 5+ minutes for 300 dpi page).
