IIe upgrade. (A little clearer)

   I guess I wasn't clear enough about the IIe upgrade.  I just want to go
to a enhanced IIe.  The IIe I recieved for my son doesn't have mousetext.
If it is a free upgrade like someone told me, could I get the number that
the dealer will need to look up to see that it is really free?  Around here
they would charge you 100 bucks for just looking at it.(And I ain't stupid
enough to let them just look at it.:-) )
