Testing HS SCSI Card

                  HOW CAN AN APPLE HIGH-SPEED SCSI CARD BE TESTED
                  ===============================================
                          WITHOUT A HARD DRIVE??????
                          ==========================

In anticipation of buying a hard disk drive for my IIe within the next
six months, I bought a used Apple "High-Speed SCSI" Interface card.
The card appears to be in perfect condition, with all docs, software
disks, and original packing included.

Because it may be 2-6 months before I can get a hard disk, the performance
of the SCSI card is unknown at this time. If there is a fault in the card
I ought to try to detect it within a reasonable time interval after buying
it.

Does anyone know whether a diagnostic test is available for this card which
could be applied even if the card is not yet connected to a SCSI device?
