problem it is likely due to the fact you may not have boot blocks on the
partitions you try.  Copy block 0 from your normal boot partition to each
additional partition.  Also make sure whatever partition you try to boot from
actually has something to boot (ie. boot block (mantioned above) and ProDOS
(either PRODOS (p8) or PRODOS (GS/OS))  Get the picture.

Sounds like you upgraded just to have the latest ROM.  3.01 just fixes a few
minor problems with Syquest drives.  If you don't have one, well...
