OOTW speed .. strange

Hallo

did anyone else notice this? When in full screen mode, OOTW is about
1.5 times slower than in Matted mode. Ok, no big deal, you say, after
all it's got to manipulate more data. But, and here's the but: The speed
remains the same wether I have my ZIP at 7.6 MHz or 12MHz. I.e., there's
no noteable speed increase in full screen mode although I've got a fairly
fast GS.

Anyone have a clue as to why that could be?
