Old Mac (SCSI) Drives?

Can the older Mac hard drives be used by the IIgs?  I have access to a number 
of Everex EMAC 20D drives that were being used on Macintoshes.  They have the 
dual "big bar" connectors in the back which match my present SCSI cable.  Any 
furthur information would be appreciated.  Thanks!
