Shareware Solutions II
Since I've already shared my plans, I may as well blab it here too.
I am currently making plans to self-publish "Shareware Solutions II: The
Newsletter". I hope to have the first issue in the mail by July 1, 1993.
Shareware Solutions II will be completely written and published by me. I
anticipate that each issue will be 12 pages or more, and will contain a
combination of 'feature length articles', reviews of new Apple II hardware
and software, hints and tips about using the Apple II, and of course,
write- ups about Apple II public domain, freeware and shareware. I intend
to expand the freeware/shareware coverage to include "must have" classics
(oldies but goodies) as well as the latest and greatest.
As I have done for inCider/A+ readers, I will continue to make disks of
freeware and shareware (that I write about) available to subscribers via
the US Mail.
Before providing specifics, some major decisions must be made, such as
frequency of publication and cost for subscriptions. There will not be any
advertising in Shareware Solutions II.
For those of you who are already familiar with my articles from
inCider/A+, I intend to combine Shareware Solutions along with Grapevine,
add a review or three, and include the types of "how to" articles that I
used to have published in Big Red Computer Club's Scarlett.
Stay tuned for details.
Apple II Forever!
