Apple// users looking for home for gig drive.

I wrote a little press release type acceptance for you: ;)
Dave Lacey and Brett Davis who are respectivly the President and Treasurer
of the Iowa Student Computer Association have whole heartedly agreed to
provide the machine and net resources for a gigabyte drive paid for by
the Apple// community to serve as a Apple// internet archive.
We expect the machine and net resources of ISCA's internet archive of
grind.isca.uiowa.edu (currently four gigabytes of public software and growing)
will meet the needs of the Apple// community well into the future.
Providing you decide to make ISCA your home for your gigabyte drive please
inform us of what accounts you want made for managing this space and any
other needs.
If you have not decided on which brand of gigabyte drive to buy we would
recommend Seagates $995 3.5" gigabyte drive, as grind.isca.uiowa.edu has a
empty 3.5" drive bay, saving you the cost of a case and cables. (ISCA will
provide internal mounting brackets and cables free of charge)

And in a message re: ftp 'dir' command, Brett replied:
