I tried to E-Mail you, but it bounced, so I'm posting my message.
The 2k START file is actually part of the "SetStart" utility, which
lets you select a startup program other than Finder. The Installer
only includes this capability if you are installing onto a large disk
(more than 800k, i.e. FDHD or hard drive).
Since the 3.5" system disk is so full, they didn't include this
capability, but renamed Finder as START so that it would still be the
startup application.
You should rename Finder back to "Finder", and copy the START
application back to your hard drive again. It is located in the
System folder of the "Install" disk in the six disk set.
