I've read in this group that //e owners should consider finding an earlier
revision RAMFast SCSI card and just upgrading the ROMS. Something about
the later RAMFast cards not being able to handle //e bus buffering currents?
I'll likely be in the market for a RAMFast card to replace my Apple II Rev. C
card. The RAMFast knows how to talk to Adaptec and Xebec boards which will
save me a slot when I add a very specific drive to my machine (rather than
use the Xebec host adaptor.)
So, is this recommendation sound? Do people use the later-revision RAMFast
SCSI cards in their //e's successfully? I'd like to know more about it.
Thanks.
