Yeah, I bought that game too, right around the time I bought my IIGS in '88.
The programmers Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin have programmed the game Rings of
Power for Sega Genesis.

>>Dondra:A New Beginning Microillusions
This one was released--I remember seeing it in a software store several years
ago. Spectrum Holobyte, who I guess distributed the game, mentioned Dondra in
a catalog I got with Soko-Ban, a game for the //c. Dondra even had snapshots
of the IIGS version, and the graphics looked better on the GS version than on
any other platform.

Yes, that's true. I remember receiving the Sierra Newsletter (now a newsstand
publication), and they said that they were dropping the IIGS because their SCI
conversion had "failed."

Actually, I believe that Sierra released this one. I know it didn't use SCI.
Manhunter: New York was released, anyway. AGI, the old interpreter, was
actually based on DHR--can you imagine how bloated those pixels must have
looked on a Mac?!

Just my thoughts,
ET.
