I really don't know if this helps but here goes:

On cco.caltech...In   /pub/apple2/graphics  there is a hickydoo called arc3dv100a.shk.  It compiles user defined shapes.  It rotates/zooms/movable eye/etc.  I thought it was a pretty neat toy.  I think it comes with code too.
It runs under Orca (probably GNO too, but don't quote me.)  It also comes with some C headers, but they're written for the APW compiler.
