What are you using to copy System 6? Error $4B means "bad storage
type". Unless your System 6 disks are damaged, this can only mean
that you're trying to use a ProDOS-8 copy program (such as System
Utilities) or a ProDOS-16 program that pre-dates System 4.0.

You cannot do this. System 6 includes many files with resource forks,
and to copy them, you must use a copy program running under System 5 or
System 6.

To install System 6 on your hard drive, you should boot from the
"Installer" disk that comes with the five disk set, then either click
the "Easy Update" button, or click the "Customize" button and choose
the appropriate installation options.

You should not attempt to copy the files onto the hard drive yourself,
especially if you don't know what you're doing!

You don't mention what type of hard drive you have. If you are using
an Apple SCSI card, the necessary drivers are already present on the
Installer disk. If you have a RamFast or Vulcan, you'll have to
install the device driver onto a copy of the Installer disk before
doing the installation.
Because the disk is pretty full, delete some scripts that you won't
need (such as AppleShare). Make sure you do this from a COPY of the
Installer disk, in case you need those scripts later.
