Actually, the ADB chip IS documented...just not in any official Apple
docmentation that I'm aware of. The chip is a Mitsubishi MM50740, and the
data sheets for it are available from Mitsubishi. I have a copy of the
data sheets lying around somewhere at home...it lists the instruction set
(sort of like the Rockwell incarnation of the 65C02, but not really) and
the timers and I/O ports and everything. The ROM code, of course, is
not listed, but it can be downloaded to the GS's main memory with
_ReadKeyMicroMem and disassembled if you're really curious (the
instruction set differs from the 65816's enough that you can almost, but
not quite, figure out what's going on with the monitor's "L" command...I
once started writing a MM50740 disassembler, but never got it finished).
