Re: Zmodem @ 7 bit xfers
Zmodem gets stuck on the Zhdr packet, unless I tell It
to Escape the ctrl-chars. After that, Nothing--bsc, Doesnt
really help at all. I think Zmodem (I have no idea why) uses
some extended ascii in its Zinit/Zhdr packets. Anyone
know any more about the Unix 7bit Zmodem? or how to tweek SZ?
I figure since proterm bothers to say "8BIT CRC16...blah..."
when it recieves a Zinit then it would ^^^^ mabey be able to
do a 7bit Xfer.
Kermit-65 v388 does a max of 250 byte packets...boo-hoo.
ps: the GNU fax software may be a good head start to getting
a faxprogram for the GS!
