Zip GS software wierdness

I noticed today that the Zippy CDA (by Andy McFadden, made a CDA by me) was
reporting my Zip to be 1 MHz. I fiddled with the speed figuring routine some
with no luck. So, I enabled the original CDA that came with the board. With it
enabled, Zippy works, but (!) the original CDA reports 1.10 MHz. I disabled
Zippy, and the original CDA still says 1.1.
 
Has anyone else seen this wierdness?
 
The Zippy P8 application continued to have no problems.
