advocacy group is needed in comp.sys.apple2

This is just an observation, but I think that the comp.sys.apple2
reorganization is missing an advocacy sub-division. My reasoning is
based on the following:

While I have been reading news during the past few days, I have gotten
the impression that I am in a room where proud men are trying to
prove to each other how proper and correct they are in their opinions,
even though neither holds any esteem for the other. The people
involved in the conversation, although using flowery language and
proper grammar, are talking a lot but saying very little.

I hope that everyone might reflect on this observation, although I
believe it would be arrogant for me to think that my observations (let
alone my opinions) would have any influence on the subscribers of this
newsgroup.

This posting is actually a double-edged sword: If the participants
involved in the forementioned conversation post in their own defence,
they are acknowledging the fact that someone would consider the nature
of their conversation as petty and self-serving; if the participants
choose to ignore this posting and continue their bickering amongst
themselves, they are either ignorant or oblivious to the nature of the
image they are projecting -- I'm not completely sure, but I believe
that neither or these are not the qualities of any intelligent, mature
person.

Please don't post rebuttles to this message; I won't answer. It's
really not worth my time.
