So the accessRights field was removed from the AppleShare FST?
Reading over the optionList stuff in the System 6 Ref, GS/OS doesn't seem too
elegant anymore. Looks like a mess.
 
The SetDefaultPrivilegs description looks mistaken. owner and group are
described as GS/OS output strings in the record layout and GS/OS input strings
in the text. (Not that I need a clarification since I'll never make this call.)
 
Perhaps the references to Inside Mac IV should be changed. To Inside Mac:
Files?

I, for one, think that dealing with Mac files would be a lot easier if calls
such as GetFileInfo, SetFileInfo, Open, and GetDirEntry added 2 fields:
MacCreator and MacFileType. If the GS/OS filetype and auxtype are returned 0,
then the creator and filetype could be checked. No need to mess with
optionLists and file system specific stuff. Not likely to happen, just a
though.
