I think all of the Siders were SASI
some used XEBEC inbeded SASI
some used XEBEC SASI to MFM and usualy a Micropolis drive
I tried to set up my own I had a XEBEC SASI to MFM and the card for the
apple but I could not get it to work at all
I guess the drive info is on the rom on the apple card
The software had no info on the drive so if you do not
have the same setup that came with it it will not work
now if you have the XEBEC SASI to MFM and your version of software
will let you enter tracks and head info it might work.
but you will have to crack it open and see what you have
The Siders came many ways and seemed to never work with
with any part of any other Sider. They seem to have to be matched
the rom is defferent in every one I ever looked at
so I would use a slot up to copy and good luck on the toasted Sider.
