	Not really, "games" are also considered a proper way to use a
computer.  The revenue they generate could provide the software
developers the foundation and monetary security they require to develop
application software.  IMHO, games theyselves form a respectable and
profitable market.  Look at the success of Out Of This World.  The
profit it brought to Interplay causes them to give the IIgs market a
second chance.
	And as someone said earlier (Henrik?), it's money that moves the
world.
