Deskjet 500 ink smear *spit-test*

I have a DeskJet 500 printer and have bought the "Jet-Master Jet-Ink
Cartridge Recharge System" (from Computer Friends) for refilling my ink
cartridges.
 
 
*** I have noticed that the "refill-ink" smears when a *spit-test* is
done *:) (water spots on paper) *much more* than the ink in the
original cartridge.  Has any one else noticed this with the kind of
refill-ink you are using?
 
I would like to know the kind of refill-ink everyone is using and their
experiences with the ink smearing upon doing a *spit-test*.
