I'm only aware of a hardware solution: The Trackstar. If my memory still
serves me, it is a //e emulator PC-slot card. I dont't remember whether
you need a special floppy drive. In principle, the PC drive should be capable
of handling Apple floppies, because once upon a time (back in 1984) there was
another //e emulator board by Quadram, which could do it. (I even played
Lode Runner and the olympic summer games on it, when I worked for a computer
equipment trading company which sold that marvel. Of course there, they didn't
even know what a //e was...).
There is another PC card which can read/write Apple Floppies, but I don't
remember the name. (It was initially built to mass copy //e games, but then
also sold commercially...). There was a feature article in an old A+ issue
(1986..89?) about all sort of bridges between PCs and Apple IIs.

Perhaps someone else has a better memory?...[sigh...]
