Yes, the modem works! Yes, I have the correct cable! My friend Gulbert 
transform my software handshaking cable into a hardware handshaking one for
free! Wow!

I have no problem at all with SnowTerm, ColorTerm and Telcom, unfortunately
I face a problem with ProTerm, and I am still looking for a solution. BTW,
This have nothing to do with my GVC modem, because David Ong is facing the
same problem too, and he is using another modem. So it should be a ProTerm
problem, or we are setting something wrong.

When using 14.4kb, after you rang up with the BBS, ProTerm does not know about
the connection has been done, and it ask me to dial/redial/cancel. Currently
I have to press cancel, choose Online/Parameter, turn on online, press cancel
before I can log on onto the board.

I hope anybody can tell me what's wrong. I am using the Okidata 9600 (RTS/CTS)
driver while David Ong is using the same driver without the RTS/CTS. Both of
us can't use the Hayes SmartModem 9600 (RTS/CTS) driver. Any other ProTerm
users faced the same problem?
