GNO questions...

I know this questions is as old as the sky is blue, but...

Is GNO really trun multitasking?  Could I, for example, download
files with kermit in the background while I was busy doing something 
else?

Two more easy questions...

1)  How do you pronounce GNO?  NO or GaNO or ...

2)  Where can I get it?  Phone Number or Address or ...
