Drive will not eject

Here's the problem- I brought home a 3.5 drive from one of the GS's at
the school where I teach so my kids could use it on their Mac Plus. It
worked ok until I put it back on the GS. Now it won't eject the disks.
Other wise it seems to function as normal. How can I get it to eject
disks when the button is pressed again?
