Scott, I think you missed the point...
ISO 9660 CDs have filenames like PICTURE.GIF;1
which means that programs like GIFview that require the conventional
.GIF (only) suffix can't be used with a CD-ROM drive.
Even worse is GIF3200, which insists on TXT or BIN type files. All files
on an ISO 9660 disc are considered type $00 (unknown), and darned if I
can find the code to fix that one.
