You're nitpicking, Greg. Who cares if METAL is blazingly fast if
the FutureVision software slows it back down again? It's like running
Windows on a 486!!! Wicked fast computer, slow GUI and OS. What FV
needs is some basic, plug-n-play configurations which offer tradeoffs
vs. features, expandability, networking, speed, etc. If a sysop decides
he doesn't need/want networking, or keywords, or whatever, then take out
that code so the BBS runs faster.

Good, but in the meantime, we're working with 4.01...

I think that's essentially what Dan wants to see. Basically a very
fast, stripped-down version of FV, but with the option of adding more
modules as he sees fit.
