    If you can spare the money, I would suggest a hard drive between 80
and 120 megabytes, and a secondary storage device (floptical, Syquest,
whatever).  That gives you four manageable partitions under ProDOS 8,
and you don't have to go to HFS (which I still don't suggest for a hard
drive partition).

   I have a 120-meg which is about 98% full, but about 8 megs of that
are MOD's, another 11 megs are Truetype fonts, up to 6 megs are my
recent downloads, 5 megs in animations and about 4 megs for sounds. 
That adds up to 34 megabytes of files I don't use on a day-to-day basis,
or over 1/4 of my drive.  Again, if you can afford it, get a smaller HD,
but invest in removable mass media.  Not only does that move less
important files off your main drive, it makes backing up the drive a
*lot* easier.  The 21-meg floptical is probably the best choice right
now, although the Sony MiniDisc (rumour, of course) may change all this.
