Well, I got the packet in the mail today, and this is what it contained:

   o 1992 "The Apple II Guide" - a 205 page compendium of Apple II history
         and various information and resource guides.
   o Winter/Spring 1993 "Apple II Software: Opportunities for Apple II
         Users" - a short, but large-paged sort-of-newsletter that also
         lists hundreds of various programs and company addresses.
   o A form letter, hoping I find the materials helpful.

Overall, I think it was quite generous of Apple to even bother with this
packet, seeing as it cost them almost $3 to mail it.
