ProSel-16 does a lot of things wrong. It often enforces all caps, doesn't
support many GS/OS conventions. And so on...
OTOH, not many programs DO copy the option list. I just checked the source
code for cp and found that it doesn't. Hey! I never use anything but cp!
And frankly, I don't care.
