Well, uhhh, dumb question time (from me that is) but what do you have
connected to your slots? Which slot is your harddrive in? I currently have
the standard 3.5 drive + 5.25 drive attached to the Smart port and a CMS20
harddrive in slot 7. Appleworks 3.0 runs like a charm in that configuration
with slot 5 obviously set to SMARTPORT. Is your setup new? By that I mean
have you recently reconfigured items? I can't tell from your post if
Appleworks ran fine previously and just started acting up or if this is a
first attempt type problem. The former are a lot easier to speculate on
than the latter.
