Courier V32bis and PT 3.0

I just bought a new Courier v32bis and am wondering how to set the dip
switches so 1.It hangs up faster 2.I already figured out the +++ fix. And
what should I set the Init string as and how can i lock the port at 38.4k as
was suggested by the manual on my SSC.
Any other suggestions for using it.. I am new in the fast lane...
