Flame wars are everywhere. That's one reason comp.sys.amiga.advocacy was set
up (actually mainly to deal with one person with whom you are familiar).
There are basic rules governing conduct on the net. People should simply 
follow those. You don't need a new group to deal with the fact that people
either don't know the rules or don't wish to adhere by them.
 
I have no idea why MD keeps coming and going. I'd imagine he's pretty busy
with job, Genie, etc...Perhaps some of the critical things said about Apple
caused him to leave. In any case this is neither here nor there.
