Shareware word processor needed

I gave my old Apple //c to my mother, and unfortunately I lost the word processor that I had for it (I think I had AppleWorks (haven't used it for 4-5 years)).
What I need is a word processor cheap, or even shareware.
But the problem doesn't stop there, I don't have a modem for it, and no Apple // access around (so that I can get a disk copy).  I do have access to PC and Mac's.

The clincher:
  Is there a way for me to:
a) get the program
b) copy it to a Mac disk
c) read it into the //c?

I remember once seeing a file store format of ProDOS on the Mac.  I'm going to look for it now, and if can store it properly.
