I too am new to networks, so forgive me if this post goes awry...

        I am very interested in those magazines!  I am a college student, and a
few friends and myself recently acquired apple ][e's to tinker with.  Were
having a blast, bt but did not get anything, *anything* with them.  Not even
DOS disks!  ANyway, were spunges for info on the thngs and are very excited
about programming them.
