Has anyone else gotten either Bulla or the new Bouncin' Ferno to
run from a GS that was upgraded from a //e?
I can't get either of these programs to do very much, and am
wondering if I either have missed some very simple thing [must be run off
a disk with a specific name or something], or have come across another of
the very very rare upgraded //e incompatibilities. (I can only think of one
other one offhand, and it was easily worked around in system software)
The new Bouncin' Ferno comes up and shows a level, but then
nothing happens.. It's hung. no joystick control, nothing.
Bulla runs and does some very weird graphic things (shows a picture
that looks like all of the components from the game, 'tears it up' and does
some weird vertical-hold-type things) then brings the level up. From there,
the character doesn't move much if at all. On the level 4, the character
moves all the way and immediately hits the spikes, thus dying. The way
you guys are talking about this game, it's as if it's an almost finished
Mario-type game. If it's really playable I really would like to get this to
work!
Anybody have any suggestions or at least can confirm or deny
that these work or don't work on an upgraded-//e GS?
