It Would be
I was thinking of making one but use rom space
or un plug the 65c816 and plug in the frame buffer and plug the cpu in it
and use memory past the gs memory map
things I would do as a min would it would have to have programable sync and
res at least 8 bits would like it to be 24bit
and it has to genlock and do NTSC timing this means 640 x 480 res
have msb of ramdac on the output plug to do video overlay
this would use sprits each window would be a sprite
and this make scroling as fast as possable and no bliter is needed
a text window can be 2 bits to save memory
have simm sockets to add memory the max res would
only be limited to ram speed and the amount of ram I would try for 1280x1024x8
but this would cost I would have to have a bit map frame buffer added to it
with vrams 5 way interleved.
but I keep hearing about a frame buffer that is in progress
so I do not want to reinvent the wheel.
after it come out and if it wont do NTSC timing genlocked
and if avtar does not do it. I might start looking at it bulding it again.
I am sorry about my spelling that is my weak point...
