Nope. Wrong again there bucko...According to Andy it will LAUNCH from GS/OS.
Won't RUN under GS/OS unless they have developed a GS/OS based compiler and
shell. I have enough E-mail from him to fill a small box about it. I have
talked with him a few times about LLUCE and although it offers a LOT of
improvements over ACOS, it STILL won't do what you claim it will.

Once again, this is a piece of cake...

^^
IF you have 2 Apple IIs and 1 Macintosh.
^^

Sorry, but I don't consider that a "multiline" system. I consider that a
really expensive waste of time.

MultiLine, under MY definition, and the defintion of everyone on
comp.sys.apple2.gno, is 2 phone lines/modems on 1 computer!

MultiLine to me is the IBM Starship 20 software that will handle up to 20
phone lines connected to -ONE- 386.

MultiLine is -NOT- 3 computers sharing 2 Phone lines!!!!!!

MultiNode off of an AppleTalk Network is WAY WAY WAY more appropriate
language.

BTW, if you REALLY want to take a peek at the Future of Apple II BBSing, then
try telneting to...

starship.nmsu.edu 6502

And see what I mean. Can't do THAT with ACOS (tm1991 G. Boehnlein). The BBS is
called the Digital Gig and it is the "Official" FutureNet Demonstration BBS
system. It is only up from 12:00 PM to 11:00 AM, because the software to
operate the Telnet port is still being developed and worked on. If you want,
set your Telnet connection to "set binary on" and Download some ShareWare from
the BBS via the Telnet link.

I didn't get shit. I got promises promises promises promises and no action. I
don't fall for that for more than a few months. The GBBS Sysops were great,
but the BASE product didn't develop. A product as static as ACOS WILL NOT DO
for my telecommunications needs. It is outdated technology that hasn't taken
advantage of HALF of what is available today.

Not to deny that some of the METAL sysops are fiercely loyal to the product,
but the amount of "Argueing" and "Bitching" that goes on is pretty much nil.
Most of the METAL sysops are interested only in bettering the product and
furthering the language. Why else would we have people working on projects
such as Telnetable BBSes, Multiple Port Serial Drivers etc????
