I would be opposed to any new apple2 newsgroup, at least as far I can can
imagine. It would do, in my opinion, a lot of harm to the community. 
 
What is odd is that there are so few questions related to Hyperstudio and
some other environments, such as GNO. In particular why are there so few
stacks on the ftp sites?
 
New groups will lead to fewer people receiving all the apple2 discussions.
