I'm pretty sure my last reply to this message didn't make it, so I've done
it over again. If, in the unlikely situation that it did make it, ignore
one or the other. They say the same thing.

There could be a problem here is some remote software sends a scroll command
and expects the terminal to scroll one line. You can disable it for this
purpose if you need to, right?

P8 programs require that all memory in banks 0 and 1 be available. If there's
an unmoveable block in there for some reason, the system crashes with a $0201.
It doesn't quit back to the previous program, it crashes. That's what's
annoying.

Not necesarily. You could use whatever interface you already have.
