If you intend to do any IIGS programming using GS/OS and the desktop tools you
not only need the Programmers Reference for System 6.0, but Apple IIGS Toolbox
References Volumes I, II, and III as well as the GS/OS Reference manual.

Exploring the Apple IIGS is a decent book, but is now hopelessly out of date.
It is even pre GS/OS era!  Trying to do GS programming without the above books
is futile.  Unless you are an FTA-wannabe in which case you just need the
Apple IIGS Firmware and Hardware References.  But you don't want to do that! :-)
