ATTN: ][e users > Need Info on a 16 BIT I/O card (YES 16 BITS!!)

Hi, I'm new to this group, but to the wonderful world of Apples.

I was wondering if anyone has any info in regards to a really cool, and
very useful board I read about a few years ago.

-It belongs to the 65xx family (making it perfect for ][e users).
-It allows the user free control over 16 pins
ie: the user can set them to be either input or output pins (in
ANY configuration that (s)he may wish)
-Apparently it is fast enough to be able to save and 'play back' 8-bit A/D
and D/A conversions of someone talking (and you can actually understand
what is going on).

This board would be excellent for a telescope. By using stepper motors to
control X and Y axis, as well as focus, camera (shutter release) and a
couple of other 'toys'. (4 pins dedicated to one stepper).

Does ANYONE know what I am talking about, and if so WHERE can I get at
least a schematic diagram, parts list and docs on how to program it??!?

Thank-you muchly in advance...
