I assume your western digital drive is IDE. If so the Turbo IDE
should work fine with it. The latest cards support just about any
standard IDE drive. Right now I'm running a western digital 40M
drive off of a Turbo IDE and it works fine. If you looking for a
big speed increase you may not get it though. Many of the Western
Digital drives can be interleaved at 3:1 at best. (This is the case
with mine). But, I do get about a 2x improvement over my Vulcan
controller.
