System 6.0 does not ship with a "generic" SCSI CD-ROM driver.... Despite its
name ("SCSICD.Driver"), it only works with Apple CD-ROMs and others which are
very close to them in design - it won't touch an NEC (believe me, I've tried it)
no matter what you do.
